Crystal Room Studio is another production and mixing studio located in Los Angeles. Kasey P had a direct hand in building this room to his personal specifications. The narrow shape of the space created some unique challenges, especially when it came to controlling the low frequencies accumulating in the corners. However appropriate dampening in the walls eliminated the need for corner traps. An Apogee Symphony is currently the converter in this room with a Thermionic Culture Purple Bustard summing mixer. The Barefoot monitors have since been replaced by Amphion Two18s and BaseTwo25. Grace M905 monitor controller and a TC Electronics Clarity M provide control and metering. A couple of Steam decks have also been utilized to control various functions throughout the room. Yes, that is a real Sony C-800G.
